Let’s start at the beginning — how did you and your partner meet, and what drew you to each other?

We had always been in the same social circle, so semi hung around the same parties or social events. We eventually connected while he was living in QLD playing Rugby, and made a move by adding me on snap chat. After a few messages back and forth, he decided to move back to Sydney and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Coming up to 10 years!

Can you share the story of your engagement? When did it happen and how did it all unfold?

He took me for dinner at my favourite restaurant ever, North Bondi Fish. We enjoyed oysters and a few too many champagnes before heading to Hotel Ravesis where he’d booked a gorgeous room for the weekend. I opened our hotel room to find it filled with candles, flowers, balloons and photos of us from across the years, it was so beautiful. The perfect engagement for us.

Spill the details on your hen’s party — what was the vibe, who is in your bridal party, and how did you celebrate? We want the full scoop on your theme, outfit, activities, and all the fun decor moments!

Oh my gosh my hen’s party was the best weekend I could ever ask for! My incredible bridesmaid’s arrange a surprise trip to Melbourne! The theme for the weekend was ‘Lucky In Love’, so everything was like Las Vegas. There were sequins, glitter, feathers, dice, cards, a game of roulette, and a huge black limo. I’ve ever had more fun or felt so spoiled.

What’s been the most memorable or meaningful part of your bridal era so far?

I think just the overall love that’s filled every inch of my body. From my gorgeous friends showering me with love and support, to my now husband being the most excited person in the world to call me his wife.

When’s the big day, and where are you saying ‘I do’? Any sneak peeks you can give us?

We got married on December 7th, 2024. The day was filled with love, joy and ever flowing champagne. I’d never smiled so much!

What’s your favourite mim piece?

I absolutely adore the custom gold Mrs McKinnon piece - I can’t wait to wear it on our anniversary as such a special way to remember our day and celebrate our love!
